DEBORAH FOUNTAINS SCHOOL

Deborah Fountains School is a primary school located in a rural area near Meru that previously had no school nearby. PEAK began constructing the school six years ago and celebrated the grand opening of two preschool classrooms in January 2020. The school had to close for eight months during the COVID pandemic, but we persevered, adding new classrooms every year, and now offer classes from playgroup and preschool through grade five, with more than 100 pupils. This is a growing community of primarily subsistence farmers, and we have been so pleased to provide a safe, quality school for the community.
