ABOUT US

Partnering in Education and Aid for Kenya had its beginnings through a 2008 team trip to Meru, Kenya to help build a school library and provide clean water for a remote, rural primary school.  A year later, PEAK was formed, and the first of PEAK’s team trips took place in 2010.

Since then, valuable relationships and cherished partnerships have grown and prospered. Annual team trips and continuing partnerships have enabled us to complete a wide range of projects in Meru, Nkubu, Nakuru, and in the region of Samburu.

PEAK has helped provide clean water systems to thousands of students and teachers at more than 100 schools, and in three women’s villages in Samburu. Clean water, so critical to life and health, has led to better quality health conditions. High school and college scholarships and upgraded school facilities, including libraries, school latrines, computer labs, and more, have helped to increase educational opportunities for young people. And a new primary school in a remote community near Meru is allowing the growing surrounding community to have a close-by, safe school for their children.

Donations to PEAK will enable us to continue our efforts in Kenya, and can be made through the link below. We will be so grateful for your support!
